First case accepted: representation of a young pregnant woman forced to leave the family home

Acceptance of the first case (1/2018-2019), which will be supervised by UPF Legal Clinic. The Legal Clinic will work with the legal team of a young pregnant woman whose partner forced her to leave the family home because she refused to terminate her pregnancy

Lawyer Ms. Rosa Artigas Porta has agreed to provide pro bono representation of a young pregnant woman with little financial means whose partner forced her to leave the family home because she refused to terminate her pregnancy of their child. The academic team who will work with the legal team are Dr. Josep Ferrer Riba, Albert Font Segura and Esther Farnós Amorós. The team will also include final year undergraduate students: Júlia Bellver Cuenca, Montserrat Estany de Pouplana and Gemma Novau Villalba who were successful in the selection process. These students will write their final thesis about particular issues in this case in addition to analysing problems presented.
