The Legal Clinic of Pompeu Fabra University is a teaching innovation activity organized by the Faculty of Law subject to the authority of the Dean, currently Dr. Anna Caballé Martorell.

A Director appointed by the Dean directs the activities of the Legal Clinic. The Director is chosen from the permanent teaching staff of the Department of Law. Currently, Dr. Maurici Pérez Simeón holds the position.

An Academic Committee formed by the Dean, the Director, and three members of the teaching staff of UPF is responsible for ensuring the quality of the clinic's activities and compliance with applicable ethical and normative standards.

Currently, members of the Academic Committee, in addition to the Dean and the Director, are Dr. Josep Ferrer Riba, Dr. Santiago Ripol Carulla, and Dr. David Felip Saborit.

An Organizational Council appointed by the Clinic Director is responsible for channeling membership requests, monitoring case evolution, organizing quarterly events, maintaining contact with NGOs and other collaborating entities, and updating the website.

It is currently composed of a group of eight law students from the University and members of the Clinic.

Each of the five sections of the Clinic has a member of the teaching staff or a volunteer lawyer who performs coordination functions. At present, the responsible persons are as follows:

  • Section 5: Permanent Seminar - Dana Costa and Laia Rubio, UPF students.
  • Section 6: Case Management - Laia Rubio, Àlex Mesalles, and Pau Mateo, UPF students.
