The aim of this programme is to welcome new teachers to UPF and initiate them in planning activities, developing teaching methodologies and evaluation so that they are able to integrate them into their teaching. 

It is free of charge and is recognized with a certificate of aptitude eligible for submission in AQU and ANECA accreditation processes.

 

 25 hours - face-to-face - in Catalan - from October 24, 2023 to January 30, 2024 
Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, from 2 pm to 5 pm on the Ciutadella campus 

Recipients:

  • All teaching staff who have recently joined UPF
  • Compulsory for junior lecturers 
  • Recommended for other teaching staff such as tenure-track, trainee research staff, researchers who teach, adjunct lecturers, predoctoral and postdoctoral students, etc. 
     

Aims:

  • To welcome new teachers to UPF, informing them of the services, units and resources that the University provides them with as teaching and research staff members. 
  • To acquire and implement the knowledge, skills and basic attitudes linked to the teaching competences of university teaching staff within the educational framework of UPF, for the development of their teaching career.
  • To initiate the teaching staff in planning activities, developing teaching methodologies and evaluation so that they are able to integrate them into their teaching.
  • To become aware of the need for educational innovation in the university context.

 Face-to-face sessions from October 2023 to January 2024, on the Ciutadella campus. Online sessions from March to June 2024

Evaluation:

  • Attendance and participation in the sessions will be taken into account.
  • To be granted the course certificate, participants must attend at least 80% of the sessions.
