ELENA RONDA PÉREZ

University Professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health. Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (University of Alicante 1988) and doctorate with honors (1997). She is a specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health.

Currently has 4 five-year periods of teaching and 2 of research, which are the result of more than 70 publications JCR (orcid.org/0000-0003-1886-466X). She has directed 11 doctoral thesis, and has participated and/or directed 30 research projects funded. She is tutor of the training unit for resident physicians in the specialty of Preventive Medicine and Public Health of the Hospital San Juan de Alicante.

Since 2014 is coordinator of the sub-area of ​​area health services Clinical Epidemiology and Medicine Agencia Estatal de Investigación and since 2015 is director of the scientific journal Archivos de prevención de riesgos laborales.

Her main research is on the health of migrant workers. In this field she has conducted several research projects, including ITSAL project. Since 2013 collaborates with the Migration and Health Research Center at the University of California, and is also coordinator of the subprogram CIBERESP Health and Immigration.
