Eleccions
Election of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences (2026)
On 16 January 2026, the Rector of Pompeu Fabra University, Laia de Nadal Clanchet, calls elections for the academic office of Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences, in accordance with the powers conferred upon her by Article 85 of the UPF Electoral Regulations, approved by Resolution of the Governing Council of 17 December 2003.
The elections shall be governed by the provisions set out in Chapter 3 of Title 3 of the Electoral Regulations of Pompeu Fabra University.
Eligible candidates are faculty members who meet the requirements established in university legislation and in the Statutes, and who are in active service. Voters are the members of the Faculty Board.
The term of office shall be six non-extendable and non-renewable years for the person elected for a first term, or for a person re-elected for a second term. In the case of a person serving a second term who runs for a third term and is re-elected, the term of office shall be three years, non-renewable. Re-election is not permitted if the person is already serving a third term.
Submission of candidacies
Candidacies must be submitted using the official form, duly registered, and addressed to the Electoral Board of Pompeu Fabra University (Carrer de la Mercè, 10–12, 08002 Barcelona).
