I'm Rahul Methari currently pursuing PhD under Oscar Camara. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, I have done 2 masters in the UK, one in Artificial Intelligence with Robotics and 2nd in Data Science and Computational Intelligence. I worked in consultancy companies in the UK as a data scientist and machine learning engineer in various fields such as LLMs, recommender engines, time series forecasting, clustering, object recognition, fullstack machine learning applications on Azure and AWS. My other areas of work include LSTM on DNA sequencing and MLOps.

My research objective for the PhD is to develop SOTA algorithms for creating synthetic medical images, finite element meshes and fluid simulations using GANs, Stable Diffusion Models, GNNs, federated learning, etc...
Given the limited about data to train these algorithms, and bias, lack of generalisation and robustness and lack of multicentric studies has led me to take up this PhD. Currently my interest is to develop 3D images using 2D echocardiography images both TEE and TTE.
