Seminar Series on Computational Musicology and Music Understanding
Seminar Series on Computational Musicology and Music Understanding

The MTG’s Computational Musicology Special Interest Group (SIG) brings together researchers and students exploring computational approaches to (ethno-)musicology, spanning topics such as symbolic and audio analysis, and music understanding. As part of its activities, the group organizes a Seminar Series on Computational Musicology and Music Understanding, offering a space for discussion and collaboration among researchers working at the intersection of musicology, music information retrieval, and artificial intelligence. The series provides a forum for interdisciplinary exchange on computational approaches to music analysis. All sessions are open to the public and feature invited speakers from leading research institutions.
