The 22@Network is a private association of institutions located in the 22@ district, including the Communication Campus of the UPF. As part of their regular 22@Breakfast event, MTG members Rafael Ramírez and Xavier Serra will present their work in this edition. 22@Breakfast will take place at ONE PARC CENTRAL (Sala Alejandría, C/Marroc 33, Barcelona) on Thursday, January 30th, 2025

Xavier Serra will give a talk on AI and music: challenges and opportunities for the sector's transformation. He will introduce topics such as the automation of creative processes, the analysis of large volumes of music data, the personalization of listening experiences, and the support given to artists and professionals in the music sector. Xavier will also present specific research experiences, such as the UPF-BMAT Chair.

The innovator of the month will be Rafael Ramírez, who will explain the research in the use of artificial intelligence to improve the learning of musical instruments and the transfer of the resulting technologies in a spin-off.
