Foafing the music, the next generation of music recommenders, has won the 2nd prize of the Semantic Web Challenge 2006

The overall objective of the Semantic Web Challenge is to apply Semantic Web techniques in building online end-user applications that integrate, combine and deduce information needed to assist users in performing tasks.

Foafing the music started under the SIMAC IST-EU project. SIMAC (Semantic Interaction with Music Audio Contents) is about software tools to enhance our music enjoyment experience.
