Rafael Ramirez will give, on thursday at 3pm in room 102 of the França building, a seminar entitled "From Music Expression to Cognitive State Decoding"

In this talk Rafael will present current research carried out at the MTG within the ProSeMus project. In particularhe will present research on (1) expressive music performance computational modeling using machine learning techniques, (2) automatic performer identification based on his/her playing style, and (3) automatic instantaneous cognitive state decoding based on a person functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data. He will discuss the results and describe some areas of future research.
