Four of the ongoing innovation projects at DTIC have been selected for support supported by the Catalan program for innovation:

- SimOSpine - Validation of spine surgery prognosis software (led by Jérôme Noailly, Llavor grant)

- Essentia API - Essentia API: AI-powered music audio description (led by Xavier Serra, Llavor grant)

- LiverColor: an AI tool to assess hepatic steatosis. Functional prototype ready to go for clinical validation (led by Gemma Piella, Producte grant)

- VIDAA - Virtual platform for Implantation Devices for the left Atrial Appendage (led by Óscar Cámara, Producte grant).

UPF has additionally obtained one additional innovation grant, by a team in MELIS (Medicine and Life Sciences) department.
