On May 15th, 2025, our dear senior Professor Josep Joan Moreso Mateos was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). The ceremony was held in the iconic Salón Rojo of the UBA Law School, and honored Moreso’s distinguished academic career in legal and philosophical thought.

A professor of Legal Philosophy at Pompeu Fabra University and former rector of the same institution (2005–2013), Moreso has made significant contributions to legal theory, deontic logic, and constitutional philosophy.
