The EUTOPIA MORE project launches the first Student Hackathon next April. The project envisions organizing several meetings twice a year for the next four years at various universities within the EUTOPIA alliance.

The first of these weeks will be hosted by Babeș-Bolyai University and will take place in Cluj Napoca, Romania, from April 15 to 19, 2024. It will be a week dedicated to identifying and solving challenges that have a tangible impact on our territories and direct effects on our lives with students across Europe. This will be done through a new approach, transforming universities and their communities into agents of social change, fostering international and regional collaboration with public and private partners and using open innovation methodologies.

Collaboration with companies will involve students tackling different challenges in three main areas: Sustainability and Circular Economy, Cybersecurity for small and medium-sized enterprises, and Artificial Intelligence and Health Economy. The students' goal, working together, is to develop strategies and solutions to the presented challenges.

This call is open to students interested in environmental science, business, and innovation, eager to address real sustainability challenges. It is a project open to various fields of knowledge, including computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, business studies, health, AI technology, and economics.
