We are pleased to announce that the final results of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie EuroMedMig PhD Network Call 2025–2028 (HORIZON-MSCA-2023-DN-01-01) have now been published.

This inaugural call attracted an impressive 192 applications for 12 fully funded PhD positions across our international consortium. Following the initial screening process, 170 candidates were officially admitted to evaluation. The quality and diversity of submissions highlighted the global relevance and growing academic interest in Mediterranean migration studies.

Key Application Insights:

• 🌍 Global Reach: Applicants from 62 different nationalities, affirming the truly international scope of the programme.

• ⚖️ Gender Balance: Nearly equal gender representation, with a slight majority of female applicants, reflecting strong diversity and inclusivity.

• 🌐 Top 10 Nationalities: Italy, Pakistan, Türkiye, Spain, Germany, Morocco, India, China, Tunisia, and Ethiopia.

Following a rigorous and highly competitive selection process, 9 out of the 12 positions have been successfully filled. The remaining 3 positions will be reopened in a forthcoming call.
