Mobili-Tea is the podcast of the EuroMedMig Marie Curie PhD Network, created and produced by Early-Stage Researchers working on migration and mobility across the Mediterranean.

Through accessible, research-driven conversations, the podcast explores migration-related topics beyond headlines and political slogans. Each episode begins with a concrete issue — from media debates to policy controversies — and unpacks the broader social, political, and historical dynamics shaping migration in the Mediterranean region.

Rather than treating the Mediterranean merely as a backdrop to “migration crises,” Mobili-Tea approaches it as a space where mobility, borders, knowledge, and narratives are constantly produced and contested. The podcast aims to make academic research more intelligible and publicly engaged, while creating space for emerging scholars to contribute to public debates on migration.

Hosted over a cup of tea, the conversations are informal, critical, and jargon-free:

No jargon. Just honest conversations about mobility across the Mediterranean.
