We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Blog section on our website, providing a platform for students and university staff engaged in topics related to Planetary Wellbeing to share their reflections and ideas. Kicking off this week, our inaugural blog post features insights from María Vallejo Salgado and Sebastian Silva, students in the Master's in Public and Social Policies program at BSM-UPF, sharing their perspectives on the critical issue of climate change. The final master's thesis by María Vallejo Salgado and Sebastian Silva Sepúlveda from the Master's in Public and Social Policies program at BSM-UPF (2021-2023) not only explores into the pressing issues of climate change but also won the 3rd prize for the Best Master thesis in the Social Responsibility, Ethics, and Planetary Wellbeing category at UPF. The comprehensive thesis, available here, tackles the inadequacy of traditional climate discourse following the devastating 2022 Pakistan floods and sheds light on the emergent concept of loss and damage in climate negotiations.
