My main interest is the study of the relationship between neural states and human perception. Although I started working in Physics of Fluids and currently I am devoted Neuroscience, the study and characterization of Complex Systems has been always the focus of my research. At present, my focus of interest is the brain, a paradigm of complex system, and, in particular, human perception.

My research focus of interest lies on the analysis of brain activity dynamics and its connection with perception and attention, in the context of multisensory integration. I use neuroimaging techniques (mainly EEG analysis, at sensor and source level) to untangle this connection. The advantages of EEG rely both on the hability to obtain physiological and behavioral correlates, and the high temporal resolution of the technique, which allow for a thorough characterization of cortical dynamics.
