José Miguel Flores Contró is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Intelligent Interactive Systems at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in México. He also owns previous experience in teaching, within multidisciplinary subjects held at UNAM. He has solid skills in several programming languages such as Python, R, SAS and Octave. His research interests lie in the fields of Machine Learning, Analytics and Data Mining. He is interested in supporting educators to make the best decisions by implementing the corresponding subfields such as Learning Analytics or Educational Data Mining (EDM).
