BORRELL, JORDI
Jordi Borrell is a PhD student in the Interactive and Distributed Technologies for Education (TIDE) Group within the Information and Communication Technologies Department at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona. His research investigates the convergence and interplay among Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cognitive Science, and Learning Technologies. He brings a decade of industry experience to his academic pursuits, having spent more than ten years in the private sector developing interactive applications across various companies in the Barcelona enterprise ecosystem. He holds a diverse educational background, including a double Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Sciences (UdG, 2000) and Multimedia Engineering (URL, 2010), and a Master of Science (MSc) in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media (UPF, 2023).
