Call for the presentation of activity proposals for the 27th Science Week (Internal deadline October 3)

Science Week, coordinated by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation, is a consolidated initiative, the result of the interaction and collective will of numerous institutions and entities in the field of research and dissemination of science and technology.

Its objective is to bring science and technology closer to citizens and promote scientific vocations among the youngest.

This year, during Science Week (November 11 to 20), a whole host of scientific popularization activities will be held throughout our territory.

For this year's edition, innovation and local knowledge are proposed as a driving force for growth, highlighting the innovation and science assets that exist throughout the country. At the same time, the SC will encourage the active participation of citizens in the different stages of the scientific research process.

The 27th Science Week will also have other relevant topics, such as the Commemoration of the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development.

And the centenary of the birth of different people who have been referents in the respective fields of knowledge. They are the primatologist, Jordi Sabater i Pi and the American microbiologist, Esther Lederberg.

Apart from these, any activity related to science and technology can also be accommodated.
