A knowledge of history and art theory provides useful, and even essential, elements for a deeper understanding of culture and the contemporary world, which enrich and open new horizons for students from other degrees in a diverse range of fields.
This minor offers students specific knowledge as well as methodological approaches specific to the field of history and art theory.
Students from centres that form part of UPF, Students at UPF centres, students on the UPF Open Bachelor’s Degree programme and UPF graduates enrolled in the UPF Alumni programme, which meet the requirements for each subject and, particularly, from the degrees in Audiovisual Communication, Audiovisual Systems Engineering, Journalism and Advertising and Public Relations.
Students on the degree in Humanities and the degree in Journalism (Humanities pathway) are excluded due to incompatibilities.
The timetables of the subjects and the classrooms the classes will be given in will be set by the study programmes responsible for the corresponding training activity.
The subjects will be given in the language stated in the course plan.
Training activities belonging to more than one minor can only be included in one of the student’s minor transcripts, if the student is studying more than one
