Short-term stays in other I+D centres - PhD Contracts for Doctors Training 

The "Grants for pre-doctoral contracts for the training of MINECO doctors" These grants include an additional endowment that finances, on the one hand, stays by pre-doctoral research staff in training and tuition fees for doctoral studies.

Stays must have a minimum duration of one month (there is no maximum number of months), counted from the date of joining the receiving centre, and may be enjoyed in both the pre-doctoral and post-doctoral phases.

In the following links you can find a grant's summary according to the call year: previous calls to 2018, PRE2018 and 2019, PRE2020, 2021 and 2022.

Amounts: 6,250 euros (PRE2019), 6,860 euros (PRE2020, PRE2021 and PRE2022).
From this endowment, it should be remembered that doctoral tuition fees must be deducted over the 4 years of the grant (approx.: 1,604.48 euros).

Please follow these steps:

1. Inform of your stay through web Facilit@ -MINECO (template).

The stays may be carried out in other R&D centers, public or private, including companies, foreign or Spanish, provided that the centers are located in a locality different from that of the center where the activity takes place. The rooms must have a minimum duration of one month uninterruptedly, counted from the date of incorporation to the receiving center.

2. Send a copy to the Research Service ([email protected] ; [email protected]) for its approval, attaching the acceptation document from the stay reception centre. 

3. A month before the beggining of the stay, if previously requested by email to Alba Forn ([email protected]), the 75% of the grant will be paied for the travel expenses (accomodation, food allowance)

4. Once the stay has come to an end, send the stay certificate  (template) and the travel expenses' receipts (including bills and boarding cards) to the Research Service [email protected]. At this moment, the 25% of the grant will be paied.

5. The stay's scientific justification must include the stay report in the following-up scientific reports.
