This is the first time that the University, with the involvement of the Academic Coordination Unit (UCA) of Engineering and Information and Communication Technologies, has been listed in this THE ranking which this year includes a total of 903 universities from around the world, over 400 more than in the previous edition.

UPF comes in the 151-175 bracket and is among the top 60 in Europe.

Citations and international outlook, UPF’s strengths

The methodology used in this list focuses on the same thirteen performance indicators as the overall THE ranking (in its latest edition, UPF came in its best position ever, 135th), divided among five major areas. However, the methodology has been readjusted to adapt to the various disciplines included.

Pompeu Fabra, which achieved an overall score of 45.2 - 47.5 points, stands out in the area of Citations in specialized publications, in which it obtains 98.9 points, close to the highest possible score, followed by International Outlook (69.7), Industry Income (40.8), Teaching (7.23), and Research (17.3).

Improved positions at state and world levels
