What are the requirements to gain access to the Humanities PhD?

One of the main criteria to be admitted to the Humanities PhD programme is to be accepted by one of the programme's research lecturers, who expresses their availability to supervise the doctoral research project proposed by the candidate.
Nevertheless, candidates must hold an official University Bachelor's Degree and prove that they hold an official University Master's Degree of a minimum of 60 ECTS credits or that they are in the process of obtaining it.

Do I have to hold a Master's Degree in the application process?
It is not necessary when you are applying. However, you must keep in mind that the degree or its receipt will be essential to formalise your registration in October.

What is the deadline to submit my thesis?
The doctoral student must submit their doctoral thesis (prior to the defence of the doctoral thesis) before their third academic year ends.

Can doctoral studies be disrupted?
The doctoral student can ask the Academic Commission for a temporary break of the programme for a maximum of one year, with an option to expand it for another year. Nevertheless, this request must be justified.
