Haas Research Group in Poetics of Knowledge
As a Consolidated Research Groupf from 2009, in a Faculty of Humanities, and in continuity with the research carried out on the spiritual traditions of the West and the East, the scope of interests is widened to the intellectual movements arising from secularization. We propose new goals in dialog with the modern and contemporary philosophical thought, psychoanalisis, the Arts, Literature, as well as the new models of transmission of knowledge through the most recent theories about thought and the media. The significant expansion of the materials in the Haas Collection on 2019 has called for the incorporation of new researchers, who enrich the previous activity with lines of research from which to attract the attention of young researchers, both PhD Students and postdoctoral researchers, so that this Group becomes the core reference in the interdisciplinary and transversal studies of the UPF Faculty of Humanities.
As a fundamentally interdisciplinary Group, the common denomination «Poetics of Knowledge» embraces different itineraries (with directors for each of them), so that we can all deepen in the diverse areas indicated, taking as a horizon the dialogue between the different working methods.
