UPF is launching the new guest@upf wireless network (Wi-Fi) for people outside the University: visitors, guests, meeting attendees, conferences, etc., who do not have access to Eduroam and who need to have 'punctual access to the Internet while doing their activity in the facilities of the University.

From now on, these users will have a personal and non-transferable password, lasting five days and renewable three times a month, which will allow them to easily access the new network and enjoy connectivity while at UPF. This guarantees compliance with the ICT security regulations set by the ENS and at the same time simplifies the procedure for requesting a password (the user fills in a very short form and receives a password on their mobile phone).

As of July 4, the old event@upf network will no longer be active.
