Digital competence training allows members of the university community to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to carry out their activity in the area of technologies and information resources.

This knowledge and these skills should enhance students’ academic performance and also promote autonomous learning for life for anyone receiving this training.

Digital competence is the set of knowledge, skills, and behaviours that enable individuals to:

  1. In the area of information: identify, locate, retrieve, store, organise and analyse digital information, assessing its purpose and relevance.
  2. In the area of communication: communicate in digital environments, share resources through online tools, connect and collaborate with others through digital tools, interacting and participating in communities and networks.
  3. In the area of content creation: create and edit new content (texts, images, videos, etc.), produce multimedia content, carry out computer programming and know how to apply intellectual property rights and user licenses.
  4. In the area of security: manage personal protection, personal data protection, digital identity protection, use of security and sustainable use.
  5. In the area of problem resolution: choose the most suitable tool for a purpose or need, resolve technical issues and use technology creatively.
