Candidates for scholarships for the 2018-2019 period have already been selected. As of March 2019, the group is not offering any scholarship for PhD students; please check again in late 2019.

The Web Science and Social Computing Group at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, lead by Carlos Castillo, is particularly interested in social computing applications that address issues of social significance.

Applicants must fulfil the admission requirements of DTIC, which can be summarized as:
  1. Holding a master's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Being proficient in English.
  3. Have previous experience, interest, and/or publications in related topics.
Currently our group has no additional funds for scholarships for new PhD students, but if you have an external source of funding and fulfil the above requirements, please contact Carlos Castillo.
