Biography

Saki Iwata is a PhD student in the Political and Social Sciences at Universitat Pompeu fabra (UPF) and a member of the Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM). Additionally, she is a recipient of an early-career research grant offered by the Catalan government (FI2022).

Her research interests include cultural psychology, multiculturalism, and acculturation. Her PhD projects supervised by Professor Veronica Benet-Martinez focus on Multicultural Identity Integration of immigrants in Catalonia, Spain.
