Gabriela de Lima Chehab is a PhD student in Political and Social Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and a member of the Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM).

She holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Brasilia (UnB) in Brazil and a master's degree in Politics and Constitution from the Technical University of Dresden (TU Dresden) in Germany.

In her PhD project supervised by Professor Mariano Torcal, she is dedicated to research that explores the impact of political polarization on democratic institutions through a comparative perspective.
