Agustin is a PhD student at the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), and a researcher at the Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM), where he is working for the European Social Survey (ESS) and the ICOS Cities-PAUL project. He previously worked at the Centre d’Estudis d’Opinió (CEO) in Barcelona and holds a Master’s degree in Political and Electoral Analysis from Universidad Carlos III (UC3M) in Madrid. 

His thesis is focused on studying methodologies for questions about Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in social surveys. He has experience on data analysis, data visualization and is also interested in researching LGBTQ+ political behaviour.
