S4I final conferences: part 2 - inclusive STEAM education

On July 1st and 2nd, the second part of the S4I conference took place as a coordinated effort with the Erasmus + projects BLENDI, D-TIPS and TEASPILS, as well as the Courage project funded by the Volkswagen Stiftung on the one hand, and the local organisers of the Maker Faire 2022.

On July 1st and 2nd, the second part of the S4I conference took place as a coordinated effort with the Erasmus + projects BLENDI, D-TIPS and TEASPILS, as well as the Courage project funded by the Volkswagen Stiftung on the one hand, and the local organisers of the Maker Faire 2022. Within the event, which attracted over 1.000 participants (especially professionals working in education), the Erasmus + projects offered an inclusive STEAM education track, where participants had the chance to get to know advances and resources available to them, for the promotion of inclusive STEAM education and access to digital technologies.

 

Each of the Erasmus projects focused on one of their specific outcomes. For the case of Schools4Inclusion, the talk focused on challenges associated with the use of digital tools inside and outside the classroom, with a focus on their potential negative effects, as identified by professionals participating in the project as one of their more urgent needs.
