Schools4Inclusion is expected to lay the groundwork to equip schools with methodologies to assist them in accomplishing a shift to be inclusive. Project activities supporting this objective include:

  1. The development of a comprehensive model for school education – The Inclusive Education Guidelines. The Inclusive Schools Methodology is a step-by-step strategy that for the successful conversion of the ordinary school into an inclusive one (e.g. methodology, action plan, capacity building activities).
The implementation of the Inclusive Schools Methodology is expected to help transform schools into safe, welcoming and caring learning environments, in which children and young people can grow and develop as individuals and members of the community, feel respected and valued and recognised in their specific talents and needs.
  2. The development of the Inclusive Education Online Toolkit – a resource for educators with tools to implement the inclusive education methodology. Its purpose is to give educators the tools they need to build meaningful inclusive practices into their education programmes.
