Epidemiology III

This course explores advanced epidemiological techniques and will build upon and extend the epidemiological skills taught in the MPH core courses. The course achieves its aims through case studies in different areas in which epidemiology have made a substantial contribution to public health and clinical policy and practice. The course reviews important epidemiological studies that have contributed to development of knowledge and in public health and clinical application in these areas. The emphasis of the course will be on the importance of epidemiological methods, and will give students a deeper understanding of study designs and biases in epidemiology.
Requirements: Advanced knowledge of epidemiology and statistics. The course will be taught in English.
