20.06.2020

Augsburg University has succeeded in building an emotion sensing pipeline for arousal detection in Present. The pipeline was designed using the award-winning Social Signal Interpretation (SSI) framework developed at Augsburg University and features modern affective computing technologies.

Deep learning techniques are used to analyze audio signals from the user in real time. In a first step, the voice of the user is extracted from the audio input, in a second step the arousal value is determined by the use of a pretrained deep neural network.
