    We welcome four new members: Giacomo Orsini joined as a MSc thesis student (University of Bologna, Italy), Vittoria Ossanna as a MSc internship student (University of Trento, Italy), Istoni Daluz-Santana as a Postdoctoral researcher, and Sara Fumagalli as a visiting PhD student (University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy).

  • 01.10.2023 - Welcome, Albert!
    The first PhD student joined the lab. Albert Garcia-Valiente will develop computational methods to study the neuroactive potential of the human gut microbiome.

     
  • 15.09.2023 - Welcome, Francisca!
    The first MSc student joined the lab as an ERASMUS+ student from ILT Lisbon, Portugal. Francisca Labisa-Morais will study the social transmission of the microbiome in the Indri indri.

     
  • 01.09.2023 - Welcome, Microbiome Research Group! 
    The laboratory directed by Mireia Vallès Colomer is established at MELIS-UPF to study, through computation, the relationship between the microbiome and human health and its transmission in the population.
