Freesound 2024 in numbers is now published, with quite impressive numbers in sounds uploaded (over 55K, to reach over 670K in total) and number of downloads (over 18.7M, to reach a total of over 250M since its creation).

The whole entry includes detailed information about the type of sounds used, examples of them, active users and an interesting detail about search queries by users, that provide ideas about what and when users search for sounds.
