In January 2025, the FINDHR – Fairness and Intersectional Non-Discrimination in Human Recommendation project, coordinated by Universitat Pompeu Fabra, entered its closing phase. While the project is wrapping up, its work continues to be freely available, offering tools, methods, and actionable recommendations to combat discrimination in AI-driven hiring systems.

As AI-assisted recruitment becomes more commonly used to preselect candidates or rank applicants - concerns are rising about unintended consequences. While these tools promise efficiency, FINDHR research shows they can reproduce or amplify discrimination, often invisibly and without accountability. To help address these risks, we have prepared a series of free resources designed for software developers, HR professionals, job seekers, and anyone interested in fairer, more inclusive hiring practices.
