Reflecting on the recent NUMIX LAB held from December 4th to 8th, 2023, we were honored to present the work in progress and foundational principles of New Departures on December 4th. This annual international event, which took place in the cities of Brussels and Amsterdam, successfully accelerated networking and fostered cooperation between the cultural, audiovisual, and technological sectors. Our presentation at the XR-Lab—a permanent space established by CREW in partnership with iMAL—offered attendees a dive into the innovative tools and applications being developed in the MAX-R project. The event was a testament to our commitment to creating a community around digital creativity and facilitating collaborations across continents.
