Alberto Carrio Sampedro is Phd in Law, MA in Pedagogy, MA in Law of Sports and MA in European Advanced Studies. Alberto Carrio is Senior Lecturer at the Barcelona School of Management of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and Lecturer in Legal Philosophy at the Law Department. Previously he was a pre-doctoral fellow of the Spanish Parliament and the Spanish Agency of Cooperation (Spanish Foreign
Office). Alberto Carrio has published four books and several academic papers in Legal Theory, Constitutional Law, Rule of Law, Rules of Sports, Equality and Fairness in Sports, Sport Governance and the impact of the new technologies and AI in sport. Alberto Carrio is the lead researcher of twp Research Programs on the ethics of Artificial Intelligence in Sport funded by the Fundacion BBVA and the Olympic Studies Center respectively Alberto Carrio is currently Deputy Director of Fair Play. Journal of Philosophy, Ethics and Sports Law and coordinator of the Seminar of the Legal Clinic of Pompeu Fabra University.
