Postdoctoral researcher

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Pompeu Fabra University (Law Department – Law & Philosophy Group), and my research focuses on deliberative constitutionalism.

Regarding my academic background, I hold a PhD in Law with International Mention from Pompeu Fabra University, supervised by Roberto Gargarella and José Luis Martí, with a doctoral committee comprised of Cristina Lafont, Joel Colón-Ríos, and Donald Bello Hutt. Prior to this, I obtained the following degrees: a Master in Global Rule of Law & Constitutional Democracy (Università degli Studi di Genova and Universitat de Girona), a Master in Constitutional Law (Centro de Estudios Políticos y Constitucionales and Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo), a Specialist in Constitutional Law (Universidad Católica Argentina), and a Law degree (Universidad de Mendoza).

I have also conducted research stays at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (hosted by Prof. Armin Von Bogdandy and Prof. Mariela Morales Antoniazzi), the Australian National University – College of Law (hosted by Prof. Ron Levy), and the Trinity College Dublin – School of Law (hosted by Prof. Aileen Kavanagh).

My work is published or forthcoming in leading journals, including the International Journal of Constitutional Law (Q1, Scopus), Global Constitutionalism (Q1, Scopus), Revus: Journal for Constitutional Theory and Philosophy of Law (Q1, Scopus), Canadian Journal of Law & Jurisprudence (Q3, Scopus), Federal Law Review (Q3, Scopus), Isonomía: Revista de Teoría y Filosofía del Derecho (Q2, Scopus), Revista de Derecho Político (Q2, Scopus), Derecho del Estado (Q2, Scopus), Eunomía: Revista en Cultura de la Legalidad (Q3, Scopus), Diritto & Questioni Pubbliche (Q4, Scopus), and Boletín Mexicano de Derecho Comparado (Q4, Scopus), among others. My monograph "Deliberative Constituionalism: Objections to Judicial Review and Deliberative Democracy" has been accepted for publication by Marcial Pons. I have also co-edited two books, edited two symposiums and published several book chapters in my field.

Additionally, I am a member of the Advisory Council of the Argentinian Chapter of the International Society of Public Law (ICON·S). I also participate in research projects at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Universidad del Valle, Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, and Universidad Nacional de La Pampa.
