Astier, Cristina

Cristina Astier is Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral researcher at the Basque Country University/ Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Previous to this position she has been a researcher at the iDEM (Innovative and Inclusive Democratic Spaces for Deliberation and participation" European project, and a Margarita Salas fellow at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and Central European University in Vienna. She has been a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Transnational Governance, European University Institute, Florence. Her research focuses on AI innovations for inclusive deliberation, the international governance of AI, global justice and trade, relational egalitarianism, and the legitimacy of global governance institutions. She collaborates regularly with the Government of Navarre and the Government of the Basque Country
