NEWBERRY, LUKE SEBASTIAN STONEMAN
Luke is a PhD candidate working on topics related to work and economic justice, with a particular focus on the so-called "gig economy" and nonstandard or alternative forms of work, as well as the economic role of digital platforms. He holds an MA in Philosophy from the University of Glasgow (2014) and an MA in Political Philosophy from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2019).
Luke is part of the project "Justice and Work: A Normative Analysis of Nonstandard Forms of Employment" with Jahel Queralt and Iñigo Gonzalez-Ricoy (https://www.upf.edu/web/justwork). In this capacity he has co-organised the Mancept panel "Justice and Nonstandard Work" (2021) and a workshop at Oxford University, "Labour Market and Workplace Justice" (2022).
