Alexandra holds a Bachelor in Law from the National Autonomous University of México (UNAM), and an LLM from the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. She is a PhD candidate in the legal philosophy area of the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Her thesis is about multiculturalism and education, focusing her analysis in Mexican indigenous peoples. The provisional title of her thesis is "Indigenous peoples and the right to education in México. Between diversity and unity"

After ten years of being member of the Mexican national fencing team, Alexandra is also interested in sports justice and in the philosophy of sports.
