The UPF participates in various teaching and academic cooperation projects of the European Commission, highlighting teaching innovation projects and curriculum development.

The Research Group on Interactive and Distributed Technologies for Education (TIDE) has been the most active in this field in recent years, coordinating several projects funded under the call for Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ Program.

 

AILA - Student Learning Agreements to foster participation in defining and evaluating responsible use of Generative AI. The AILA project aims to engage students and educators in shaping responsible practices and approaches to the use of Artificial Intelligence in higher education.

 

VISTA SL - Visual Interactive System for Teaching and Assessment of Sign Languages. The VISTA-SL project improves sign language education using AR, avatars and AI by donation supporting inclusive and accessible learning.

 

 

Co-CREATE - Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning for Inclusive Education. This project fosters inclusive and digitally improved education through the development of AI-backed collaborative learning tools for various student needs. It empowers teachers and students as co-researchers while promoting innovative CSCL practices and multilingual accessibility.


IDEAL - Integrating Data Analysis and AI in Learning experiences. The IDEAL project promotes innovative methodologies in data analysis and conscious use of AI to train academic staff and promote the dissemination of new practices and knowledge within their disciplines.


VOLCANIC - Innovative Technological Pedagogy in Higher Education. The Volcanic project aims to train HEIs and K6-K12 teachers to master effective pedagogies for using Computational Thinking (CT) to incorporate ICT in their teaching.


TRAILS - Toward the responsible and constructive use of generative AI in language learning at school. Aquest projecte presenta als professors els usos constructius i ètics de les eines d'IA, i implica que els professors planifiquen, realitzin, reflexionin i comparteixin lliçons de recerca que impliquen l'ús d'eines d'IA.  


CRITERION - Critical Spanish Language Teacher Education. L'objectiu d'aquest projecte és desenvolupar un model de formació crítica del professorat d'idiomes


FLED - Learning design for flexible education. El projecte FLeD pretén facilitar el disseny d'escenaris d'aprenentatge flexibles efectius per al professorat.

CLOSER - Closing the Gap between Smart Learning and Emergency Remote Teaching. The main objective of the project is to support the transition from Emergency Remote Teaching to Digital Education through evidence-based, open, and innovative practices of teaching and learning.


CACAO - Cell Biology and Art Class Omnibus. The project brings together biology and music researchers, artists, preschool teachers, and experts from five European countries to co-create unique pre-school learning program blending cell biology, music, dance, and visual art.


COMPRA - Blended Short-Cycle Training Courses on Communing Pratices. The project’s aim is to enable higher education students of Education Sciences, Social Sciences, Social Work and Communication to explore values and practices of commons’ pedagogy and become acquainted with using innovative methodologies and tools


ITSHEC - Integration of Transversal Skills into Health and Social Care, Higher Education and the Currículum. This project designed, piloted, implemented and evaluated learning strategies that helped to enhance transversal competencies in health sciences students.


ILLUMINE - A community for exploring and sharing uses of evidence-based teaching strategies. This project supports teachers to create and share case studies based on their use of evidence-based teaching practices.
