I am a doctoral candidate with a background in Archaeology. I obtained my MA degree in Prehistoric Archaeology at University of Zagreb, Croatia with focus on the hunter-gatherer food-related exploitation of marine and plant resources. PhD research is conducted within the framework of the RAINDROPS project and aims to identify the extend and changes in plant exploitation of late Pleistocene and Early Holocene hunter-gatherer-fisher communities in North Africa by studying the macrobotanical and microbotanical remains from the site of al-Khiday, Sudan.
