Reclaiming public space: agoras and maidans in contemporary politics is the title of the lecture that will be offered by the sociologist Nilüfer Göle

N. Göle is professor of sociology and research director at the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. Her sociological approach aims to open up a new reading of modernity from a non-western perspective and engages a broader critique of Eurocentrism.
