Professor Federico Fabbrini will teach one of the UPF Doctoral courses in Law from October 21 to 24

Doctorate Program in Law
14.10.2025

From October 21 to 24, Professor Federico Fabbrini will teach the Doctoral course for first-year students, "The EU Constitution in Time of War", which explores the legal and constitutional order of the European Union (EU) after the Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Fabbrini directs the Jean Monnet PROSPER Network (Project to Research Opportunities to Strengthen Prosperity and Economic Resilience in the EU), funded by the European Union (EU) and coordinated by the Dublin City University Brexit Institute & Dublin European Law Institute.

The PROSPER project (2025-2027) focuses on exploring and improving economic resilience within the EU, by identifying and promoting strategies that can strengthen economic stability and growth, in particular in the context of challenges such as globalisation, climate change and economic disparities between Member States. This is the only project to have received EU funding under the 2024 Jean Monnet Internal Network call, and 12 academic institutions from 12 different EU States are participating, including the UPF, which has a multidisciplinary team formed by members of the Financial and Tax Law Research Group, led by Professor Ana Belén Macho.
