Two CritiCC researchers participate in a seminar alongside Stirling University researchers.

Julia Castellano and Darío Doña, CritiCC researchers, presented their research last 7th of March in a seminar organized alongside the University of Stirling.

This past 7th of March, the UPF-STIRLING Research Seminar took place at the UPF facilities, with two of our researchers giving a presentation on their work, specially focused on their thesis work. Darío Doña first gave an overview of her PhD thesis, titled Matters Before Methods: A Critique of Sentiment Analysis Techniques, and the technical aspects of Machine Learning and Sentiment Analysis that her work delves into. Julia Castellano then presented her research for her thesis Rebel Foods: Plant-based brand communication strategies to change attitudes, behaviours and the world, where she implements innovative methodologies through grounded knowledge and an interdisciplinary approach that takes Communication and Behavioral Psychology into account.
