With the evidential uptake in the use of social media in Nigeria for political communication purposes, this seminar is focused on the growing significance of the country’s (and Africa’s) largest online discussion forum, Nairaland, in this regard even as the approximately 200 million population of Nigeria - the world’s most populous black nation - is projected to more than double by 2050. 

Olusegun Israel Ogundeji is a PhD candidate from the communication department at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra working under Dr. Carles Roca Cuberes.
